Position: Shipping Clerk
Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly, non-exempt
Shift: 1st
Summary: Responsible for shipping functions. Principal tasks revolve around daily shipping and receiving duties which include pulling parts and components for customer orders, packaging them and coordinating their pickup with a variety of freight carriers. Additional responsibilities include daily receiving, location and put-away of incoming inventory, general warehousing, inventory cycle counts and cleanup.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
• Pull, verify quantities, Inspect, and Pack, Customer Orders.
• Package per Customer Requirements.
• Make sure all Customer required Documents are with Orders.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through weekly cycle counts.
• Closely Work with Sales to maintain On-Time delivery requirements.
• Forklift Operation.
• Flex to other Materials area as needed.
• Use UPS, Fed Ex and other software to ship.
• Communicate with internal customers daily.
• Possesses a strong attention to detail and works well in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
• High School Education or GED preferred
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required
• 1-5 years’ experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and shipping software preferred
• Experience with International shipment preferred
• Forklift Experience a plus

Pay Range: $19-$23/hour
